Mazenod College has a rich musical tradition, and we are pleased to announce that we will be offering further opportunities for students in Years 7-9 to participate in the Music Program in 2024.

Our Vocal Scholarship Program will provide subsidised vocal lessons for a limited number of students who wish to improve their singing skills. Singing is a fantastic way to build confidence, express emotions and connect with others.

The successful applicants do not have to have had any formal musical training but must be keen to participate in the College Choir. Lessons with our experienced vocal tutor will be provided at 50% off ($17 per half-hour lesson). Solo performance opportunities will be encouraged but are not compulsory, and students who receive vocal training will give themselves a better opportunity to land roles in college musical theatre productions in future years.
