Growing In Faith and Service

At Mazenod, we are committed to nurturing the spiritual growth of our students and instilling in them a sense of service and compassion towards others. We believe that fostering a sense of faith and spirituality is crucial to our students' development.

We offer retreat programs such as Year 12 Kairos, and through our House and Year system, our students participate in fundraising efforts to support the works of MAMI, the missionary activities of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate. These efforts help support those less fortunate in India, Sri Lanka and China.

Our Service Learning program encourages students to give back to the community by volunteering their time and energy to various agencies and organisations that the College supports. The Young Vinnies group is especially popular, and the 'Hands of Eugene' program connects our students with projects and communities in need of our support.

For Year 10 and 11 students, we offer immersion programs to Oblate missions in China, India and Sri Lanka, providing an opportunity to experience different cultures while contributing to a worthwhile cause. For our Year 12 students, the Kairos Retreat Program offers a unique opportunity to reflect on their faith journey as they transition into post-school life.
