Mary has accumulated over 25 years of experience as both a Principal and Deputy. Throughout her career, she has also held various leading teaching positions within the Education Department, demonstrating her extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of education.

In addition to her impressive background, Mary has held the position of President of the Catholic Secondary Principal’s Association from 1997-1999. This leadership role allowed her to further contribute to the education community and advocate for the needs of Catholic schools and their students.

Mary is also an accredited facilitator for “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People” and “Success: Full Living”. This qualification showcases her commitment to personal and professional development and her dedication to helping others reach their full potential.

Further demonstrating her passion for education and her desire to make a positive impact within the community, Mary has served on the Catholic Education Commission of WA and was a member of the University of Notre Dame School of Education Advisory Board.

Currently, Mary holds the position of Director on the Mercy Education Limited Board, where she contributes her expertise and leadership to the organisation's educational initiatives.

Throughout his career, Fr John has demonstrated a strong commitment to education and has been a tireless advocate for his students. He has been recognised for his contributions to the field of education and has earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues, students and their families.

In recognition of her outstanding work, Siobhan was appointed Deputy Chair of Catholic School Parents Australia, the national peak body for Catholic school parents, highlighting her leadership skills and advocacy for parents across the country. Additionally, she serves as Chair of the Advisory Council for St Brigid's College, where her expertise and guidance have contributed significantly to the success of the school.

Siobhan's contributions to the education community extend beyond her work with Catholic School Parents WA and St Brigid's College. She is a member of various committees and working parties of CEWA, further demonstrating her dedication to improving the education system. In addition to her compliance and HR experience, Karen has also served as Finance Bursar for 4 years. In this role, she has demonstrated her financial acumen and ability to manage budgets effectively, ensuring schools have the resources they need to deliver high-quality education to students.

Simon joined Mazenod College after six enjoyable years of service as the Principal at St Norbert College, where he was the first ex-student appointed to the role.

With over 30 years in education, Simon brings a passion for engaging with students, a commitment to their welfare and playing his part in providing a safe and caring school environment. He also endeavours to bring a sense of pride, unity and common purpose across staff, students and families.

Simon has previously held several senior leadership positions in Catholic schools, as the Deputy Principal at Emmanuel Catholic College and Trinity College as well as the Vice Principal at Chisholm Catholic College. Whilst new to the boarding school environment, this added dimension at Mazenod College is something that he's excited about.

The Mazenod spirit embraces students, families, staff, Mazenod Old Boys and the Oblates of Mary Immaculate. The College shares many family values with the hope that all feel welcome and a part of a supportive and diverse community.
