The St Vincent de Paul Society began when a 20-year-old man saw poverty in his community and decided to take action. Today, Vinnies works with young people across Australia to continue this legacy and strive for a fairer and more compassionate society.

From primary school to university and beyond, the Society gives young people the chance to learn, reflect and make a positive difference in their community. As part of Young Vinnies, Mazenod students can join hundreds of school and youth groups across Australia who work with Vinnies to empower the next generation of social justice advocates. By getting involved, students can also support the direct work that Vinnies does every day to assist those in our community who need it most.
