Young Vinnies meet regularly and work to raise awareness and collect resources for the needy. They take part in the Winter Sleepout and support the Shopfront. Additionally, senior students can enrich their Service Learning through engagement in immersion tours to India, Sri Lanka and China.

Young actors and musicians also have the opportunity to perform through events such as College productions, the Catholic Schools Performing Arts Festival and the Mazenod Solo Eisteddfod.

Other opportunities include Have Sum Fun, STEM Projects, Philosothon and competitions such as the AHISA Debating.

Our students have the opportunity to compete in athletics, swimming, cricket, football, hockey, basketball, volleyball, soccer and more. Through our extensive sporting program, students develop skills, teamwork and sportsmanship, while also enjoying the benefits of physical activity and healthy competition.
In addition to our regular sporting program, we participate in a number of interschool sporting events and competitions, providing students with the opportunity to compete against other schools and represent Mazenod with pride. We believe that involvement in sport is an important part of a well-rounded education and encourage our students to pursue their sporting passions alongside their academic pursuits.
